If he screws up tonight, I will decapitate him.

OK...playing well or not, I cannot let this thread fall to the second page.

Hey 40% of the season has been played and David fucking Clarkson has more goals than Kovalchuk!!!

If Kovy and Parise keep the momentum and their line continues to progress like this, it will be an absolutely lethal weapon to hurt any team. Getting a bit upbeat about the whole thing.

Just my luck the team fires on all cylinders and I miss the games.

I am finding myself going to that website more often lately. Bobby Holik is my all time favorite player that has found a medium for his voice...love it!

I enjoy it too. I don't always agree with Bobby (ex. the Trade Parise post), but he's very intelligent and gives an insider's view. And he's not PC either. Not afraid to say what he feels - but we already know that about Bobby lol.

That is the beauty of Bobby, he isn't always correct (who is besides Trottier?) but there is always thought behind what he says.

Bobby is the reason I'm a Devils fan.

And Bobby is 100% right about the PP, and Saturday proved it. Both of Foster's goals came on a low to high play and Foster had the shot ability to score on both of those plays. Kovy has an even better shot and would be even more dangerous on that play.

The right to left one timer play rarely works.

10, count em, 10, first goals of the game, four game winning goals, and six shootout deciding goals. So he's set the tone 10 times, won the game outright four times and decided six games alone. His impact is huge on this team this year. He's finally returned to being the guy he was with providing some decent defense as well, and then there's the three shorthanded goals and all the ice time he logs.

The thing I'm most impressed with is his ability to play the PK and be an offensive threat during it. Parise and Henrique are our most dangerous PK duo though.

They've cooled down a bit. Eventually, when Zajac is running on good fuel, it'll be three pairs going at all times:

Parise-Henrique
Elias-Zubrus
Kovalchuk-Zajac

Zajac's awareness will make Kovalchuk that much more dangerous on the PK.

Josefson has been doing good work on the PK too. Sprinkle him in there for a little funsies.

Yeah, to have four pairs, you might be able to go Josefson-Carter on unit four.

Poni has a lot of experience killing penalties as well.
