I like how the CBA cured super teams. Oh wait, no it didn't.

Miami has theirs. NY looks to get theirs when CP3 comes over and then LA will get theirs with Kobe, Williams and Howard.

the Knicks won't be getting Chris Paul...through a trade, at least. other teams will offer way better packages. the Celtics have apparently offered Rondo, Green, and picks for Paul. the Clippers and Warriors have apparently made strong offers too

Oh sure, but they're throwing away assets. Eventually the Knicks super team will happen.

as a knicks fan, i hope so

There are about 12 superstars in the league, and to have them play on four of 30 teams, there's something about that, that doesn't sit well. No one will ever sign in Toronto.

The Terps are going to be bad this year, but they are going to win a National Championship at some point under Mark Turgeon. He so far is like the anti-Randy Edsall.

Ok, there's the college BB talk for the thread.

oh David Stern....

Read Dan Gilbert's e-mail to the league. It basically lets us in on a deeper dirty secret that the Lakers were trying to pull.

What was the point of having a lockout if it seems like everything is just the way that it was? The clearly did not fix the competitive balance issue. That league should only have 12 teams.

It'll just be five:

MIA/NYK/BOS/LA/DAL

Everyone else is just playing for the hell of it. It's absolute BS. They held out that long for this? They got nothing and the owners should have just held out for a hard cap. If it loses one season, or two, eventually those selfish bastards will come back.

Anyone catch that Kentucky loss just now?

What a game.

Also, Cincinnati is a team of thugs.

Chris Paul to LA.

Clippers though.

Chris Paul to LA.

Clippers though.Griffin-Paul? Time to change the bandwagon it seems.

They gutted the team if the trade goes through.

I don't know why they'd trade for him without a guaranteed extension first. Same thing with what the Nets did with Deron Williams.

Devilsfanatic

He said he'd give them two years instead of one by re-structuring. But the deal looks dead because the Clips are now balking at the price.

Zajac's Bowl Cut

the CP3 to the Clips deal is off now, too

the Magic are apparently stopping all trade talks regarding Dwight Howard

the Nets apparently offered Brook Lopez plus FIVE first round picks (the most they could possibly offer)

NBA? What's that?

yeah, but if they signed him the draft picks would be pretty worthless.

A fun game ruined by non-stop whistles.

Looks like Paul has been dealt to LAC.

Gordon, Kaman, Aminu and Minnesota pick to Hornets
