The truth.

I think he may already be better than Zajac is offensively.

But nowhere close to Zajac defensively.

He could be a 75 pt guy and Zajac a 70 pter. Good production out of your top two centres. And he works well with a lot. If DeBoer was smart, but he isn't because he's a lawyer, he'd have Henrique and Parise on one line and Zajac and Kovalchuk on another.

23 points in 26 games

2nd in rookie scoring/points per game

I was so close to saying he'd never see the minors again too.

I think that this is an interesting perspective on RNH vs Henrique ...

RNH

AH

ES TOI/g

13:30

14:16

PK TOI/g

00:02

02:10

PP TOI/g

03:42

01:37

TOI/g

17:15

18:04

Special teams they spend about the same amount of time on ice, but RNH spends about 2.5 times more on the PP than Henrique, with Henrique making up the time on the PK.

If Henrique wants to win the Calder he will have to get more points than RNH. RNH has the star power and recognition as a #1 overall pick.

The only way henrique wins a calder is if RNh gets injured or doesn't score the rest of the season. haha

Who cares about hardware? Sure it is nice but I'll be happy with a legitimate top 6 center.

You're right. A cup is much better.

I don`t, but as I`ve said before, it`d be nice to get that kind of recognition. Gain even more confidence.

Being on the Devils PK is like being on another teams PP ATM.

Henrique is the *only* ful time player on the team skating with a +

I've also noticed that Parise has started to lower that awful +/-

Dr. Doom
12-13-2011, 20:52
Parise has looked like a beast these past couple of games. It looks like he found his mojo.

Devilsfanatic

He's got a good line going. And they're having fun, they're standing up for one another, I really like what Adam has brought to this team. He might have a jersey reserved for him. I've got four blanks waiting for mo' money to customize. Henrique, Zajac, Parise* and Kovalchuk

* depends if he re-signs.

Well, the catch with Zach is that he's probably been on for a bunch of SHG against, that he played no part in.

They don't have an advanced goals for against breakdown anymore, so I can't bring up his stats. It's likely, given his stats (3G-1A) that he's + 4 on the PK.

Which leaves -8 for everything else. I'd guess he's a fairly big minus on the PP and a small - at ES.

Yeah, some stats are skewered by the SHGA. I hate that we've given up so many, I'm setting the over under at 20.

yeah, it's possible that Kovy's huge - is all tied up in SHG and ENG against, but also at the point you bear responsibility for SHG against. A guy who is playing in Parise's position, low or along the halfwall, really can't be held responsible unless they make a retarded pass to the point or crossice.

Devilsfanatic
12-13-2011, 21:06
Absolutely true. More than a few are on Kovy's shoulder. But he has dumped the puck in coming up the ice on the PP too, lately. His decision making is much better.

Yeah Henrique's start is very comparable to Gomer's but Zajac really isn't in their leagues in terms of rookie seasons. Zajac was very impressive but not on their level.
