lots

Rangers will win most of those and be up by almost 10 points. Luckily PIT lost, but PHI won. Could use an MTL loss, but we'd still be ahead of them with 16 wins.

And have a game in hand on them. So technically right now we are in 8th position. Again before the season started that is all I asked for by the point Zajac comes back. We are at that point now (of course we will probably fall back a spot or two because of the off days between now and Friday, but those are games we can make up).

A lot more. We have 33 now. This time last year we had 18.

I think we only won one game from this point to the beginning of the second half. lol. the team could forfeit its next 12 games or so and still be way ahead

Would be nice if they could cut down the retardation, there were parts of this game where they had serious control, especially after the tying goal. Which is nice because their end games have been total clusterfucks this season, ahead, tied, or trailing

Yeah, good position with Zajac coming back. He won't be anywhere near effective, I don't think. But just having him there for faceoffs is a huge beauty.

Also, just for the lulz one more time:

We one two games last December. Phoenix on 12/15 and then Atlanta on New Years Eve under Jacques. And then it was another week until our next win vs Tampa that started the run. Talk about going from one extreme to the next.

Versteeg clearly thought he would be able to out shoot Marty glove side :biglaugh:

Well, he got him on the shorthanded break that way.

Zach and Kovy need to get into more fights. That settled every thing down. :sarcasm:

True but Marty was pretty much giving Versteeg the hint not to shoot glove side.....it's not too often in the SO you'll see Marty give up a goal glove side

Marty's done that against several guys in the SO before, some have tried and failed others opted for another move

Oh, absolutely. He gave him glove on the break too. It's like voodoo for him.

For what it's worth, the first 30 games were 12 home/18 away. I'm not quite sure what this means because they've been pretty equal no matter where they play, but if they pick up their play at home, this is a big advantage

The shorty given up was Tallinder doing his best Kovalchuk from before he met me impression.

I don't know what happened to Kovy that got him to start playing like this but I love it. I'm getting to the point where it may not be a coincidence that DF says criticizes Kovy's game when he met him and all the sudden Kovy plays smarter.

But being serious, I think hearing from a fan about the same thing he has heard from coaches and guys like Lemaire may have gotten to him. If it is so obvious that the fans can see it, it must really be a problem. I'm sure Kovy isn't used to fans calling him out on his game to his face. Yeah, he gets booed at the rock, but how many of those people would actually say it to his face.

I noticed you have Tallinder, Greene and Volchenkov injured and Urbom is scratched, that leaves you with only five defenseman?

Did you call up Leach?

No.

No.

I noticed your boy went back to his "skate over the blue line, pull up and send a rink wide pass" routine last night. Looks like he taught the move to Parise and Henrique too, because they each used it at least once last night. Great. Maybe you need to pay him another visit.
