The thing I admire most about the Bruins, and it was the same last season, every single guy on every line is just a load to handle. They go all out to get the puck and once they have it, you won't get it back easily. Every guy skates as hard as they can on every shift. It's like watching an entire team of Parises (with obvious differing skill levels).

Here is the problem with the PP, they work it too high too much. Work it high all the time and it gets turned over it turn into a break for the other team. If you work it low and you turn it over they have 200 feet to go and most likely will just dump it.

They need to work it down low more and just pop it for quick shots (not hold the puck for a pker to get in the way and shoot it into their shin).

I don't just mean now, or after the game became out of reach, or even just this game. The 4th line plays important minutes every game. After a good shift by another line, 4th line. Faceoff in the D zone, 4th line. Shift after a GA, 4th line. It never brings energy, they are never a threat in the offensive zone, and they are probably the worst trio in the league in their own zone. They have to go.

Trotts keeps telling me I'm wasting time worrying about the 4th line. I just can't understand how you can be OK with a useless line. I mean, they play. They are out there. Of course they are going to influence the game in some way, whether it be good or bad. If they really meant nothing then a team wouldn't waste money on a 4th line and just play 3 lines.

With Zajac out Clarkson is really the only bottom 6 player I'm happy to have on the team. This match-up is unfortunately going to end in a loss more often than not. On to the next one.

Fixed.

I actually think he's pretty articulate, though very wordy. I understand what he's saying, I just totally disagree with it.

I would have been ok with just moving on from this loss if they didn't blow the game against ottawa

LOL, that's why I don't take them seriously in a nutshell, they can't compete against teams like that. I mean they can physical compete, but they are just a hot mess and Boston is a superior talented, crisper, far more organized team.

They're fun to watch most of the time but it's not going to amount to a whole lot. I would guess whenever they run afoul of teams like Chicago and Vancouver the same thing will happen.

Larsson had a tough night. -4 on the score sheet, Tallinder as well

Yeah, he broke their back with that pointless shot right into skates right after the PP. Coverage was what is usually was, just faced a team that could get in front of the net and finish them. Another spot where they scored the first 4 goals probably a grand total of 8 feet combined from the net.

Nobody can say that Marty had a fantastic game tonight.

He didn't have a bad game either. 6th goal was weak, at that point, who cares.

That comment was right after the 6th goal, it was not really a discussion point

Yeah, I know, but after the breakway it was all pretty much pointless, might as well taken him out and let him take a nap on the bench. Watching Tim Sestito *skate into a trap* trying to get through was almost worth the price of admission. Might I add, he had the red line at the time. Get this guy the **** out of here.

seriously, did ANYONE play well tonight? I thought Tedenby did, and he was backchecking well too. Kovalchuk was alright, he jsut couldnt get anyone to get him the puck

other than that, yuck

You ever see that one chick on some sort of drug dancing alone off in the corner at a club.....

That is how Tedenby plays hockey.

Honestly though, there's really little reason to get all pissy like the HF crew is doing over there. Our D is banged up and Boston's really, really good. Only the people with unrealistic expectations could get all pissy. But overall I was really annoyed with Tallinder and Foster (I don't see the point of him anymore).

Only thing that really irks me is the state of this 4th line. Boston's 4th line was so better it's not even funny. And it's not like Lou and DeBoer can't change it. They won't.

I don't think the forwards were that bad, I think they just got violated defensively. If you get down by multiple goals to Boston, you're in deep ****.

I hope Zalewski gets a chance to play Friday night

wouldve given him a shot tonight. whats the point of rushing him there and having him suit up and take warmups if hes not going to play? silly.

I'm sure he didn't mind, he probably gets 6-7 times the pay to sit in the press box than he does to play in an AHL game.

It's Lou's fault we have half of our lineup injured and it's also his fault the Bruins are good

You know the deal over there, play bad, find blame

I actually loved the guy the other day who said that he goes on 2 forums: HF and one for his football team. And that HF freaks out more about a loss in an 82 game season than the football forum does in a 16 game season.

There's a little to complain about: the 4th line (but that's been a main theme), some guys on D (again...) - but nothing to freak out about. Just don't make it a streak on Friday.

I dunno why people would honestly expect them to beat Boston, they've lost like 3 games in the last two months + and one of them was the last time they played. And we're clusterfuck on ice.

The negative turnaround in Ottawa, letting them get two instead of zero and missing the second point was way more annoying than this.

Yeah that **** gets me annoyed. The blown leads - that result in either a loss or shootout win - the SHGs, etc.

Not getting beat by teams that are so much better than this one. If you win it's like money in the bank.
