Just put those ones on.. They definitely have crisper treble and are a bit clearer than the Audio-Technicas. They're not that uncomfortable once you get used to having something jammed into your ear and pressing on your brain

cannot get used to it.

i don't like coffee. and the coffee here comes from this thing.

and it blows.

I love coffee and we have those things in every breakeoom at work. They suck.

I use these nearly every day the Devils are on watching the games on my iPad...
http://www.amazon.com/Denon-AH-D1100-Advanced-Over-Ear-Headphones/dp/B0042ETXRQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1332945282&sr=1-3

I have used them on Amtrak coming and going from DC and my coworkers make fun of me because of how big they are. I just smile being super comfortable and listening music or podcasts with my quality cans :). For over the ear cans they fold down pretty well, a nice compromise of quality and compactness in my opinion.
I haven't tried Denons yet.. At some point, I'm sure I will. I've heard a lot of good things about 'em.

I like being able to try a bunch of different pairs and picking and choosing which pair to use with different types of music. I haven't really gotten into full-size headphones the way I've gotten into in-ears, because it's hard to use the open/semi-open ones at work without coworkers bitching about my music being too loud. The in-ears, I can rock out all day long and nobody can hear a thing

Mine are closed so it is very quiet to people around you. I specifically only looked at closed cans just so I could watch the Devils games on my iPad in the same room as my wife without having to hear her complain to me that the game was too loud.

When I find I have too much money burning a hole in my pocket I plan to get a Lawton modified Denon AH-D7000..

But few knows that the water quality is such an important component.

i'm taking it on april 14th. i didn't even know i had to transfer it to NJ

now it's pouring outside. today is going to really suck something fierce.

yes, don't quote me on this, but i'm pretty sure if you take the FE out of state, you'd need to take the PE in the same state to get your license unless you transfer it. no idea how to do that. this website should tell you http://www.state.nj.us/lps/ca/pels/index.htm but good luck. you'd probably need to take the NJ law exam. are you taking the law part of the VT exam?

maybe the FE you don't have to do anything? maybe you just need any FE and NJ law to take the NJ PE?

i really don't know.

i'm taking the mechanical engineering FE exam. so is it difficult to transfer it. i'm a little surprised i never heard about it.

Those look pretty sweet.

When I have too much money burning a hole in my pocket, I'm going to get these:
http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD-700-Headphone-Black/dp/B0070U8KSM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1332946808&sr=8-1

Ideally, by the time I have a real crazy amount burning a hole in my pocket, I'll get a system implanted into my head that simply transmits the music directly to my brain.. The future is going to be crazy with stuff like that

yeah i'm reading this first page

http://www.state.nj.us/lps/ca/pels/direng-t.pdf

seems like it doesn't matter what state you FE in, you'll just need the law exam in whatever state you want to PE in

and you're taking the mechanical test? not the general test? do you have a death wish?

i've actually heard that it is better to take the specific mechanical test.

really? not the advice i got.

avoid heat transfer, kinematics, vibrations, hvac on the afternoon exam, while only adding on simple circuits and some bio stuff? i'll take that any day.

idk, i don't need to be adding on simple circuits and bio stuff. those aren't my "things"

if i don't pass i'll take the general. all i've heard is that uvm has a passing rate of like 95% so i'm not too worried.

heh, to each his own. i was happy to take the general test.

and you'll pass just fine.

however i think TCNJ's pass rate is like 99% though. :p: but maybe that's cause they tell all the MechE's to take the general test
