Interviewers have become lazy. She's not the only one who does it. I was taught never to ask those kind of questions. And when I'm talking to an athlete, or a coach, it doesn't come up that way. A good reporter will always talk about what's important to a fan and is willing to even ask them (the athlete) a tough question.

Two weeks ago, a kid quit on our team, I had the team GM in for an interview in the first, and the first question I asked him was, why did this happen, and how does it reflect on the team going forward. It's a good question without a yes or no.

I'm currently listening to Jonas Bjerre - Songs from the Movie Skyscraper. I listened through it once, and liked it. It's getting better the 2nd time around.. It's going to be amazing, just like all of Mew's other albums. These Danes sure know how to put together an album.

So many people I know won't give Mew a fair shake because of Bjerre's voice (he sings very high pitched) but they are just incredible once you get over that. Download the album Frengers and listen to it 5-10 times before you give up on them. If you don't love them after that, I'll be shocked.

It is a great group that helped her get settled into PA with play group friends for our boy and adult conversation situations for the stay at home mom's. The drama though that is created with this group is ridiculous because of what you said, everyone's feelings and how easily women seem to get offended. Selyar and I just booked a trip to LA last night.. I had a $280 continental certificate from switching a flight last year, so we used that.. total after the certificate for both of us was $240, direct from PHL. We're flying out in the morning on 4/20 and staying the weekend, visiting my cousin and her friend. Redeye back Sunday night, getting in early Monday morning. I suggested we go to Yosemite, but Selyar doesn't want to.

I think it'd be a perfect time to go.. waterfalls should be flowing pretty full with the snowmelt, it should be relatively warm and we'd be able to do some snow camping <3

My cousin suggested Catalina Island. That might be more up Selyar's alley. A long weekend is probably not enough time to spend at Yosemite anyway, but I'm of the mindset that if I don't do something now, I never will. I'm terrified that the places I want to see are going to get destroyed before I can see them (90% sure Alaska will be fucked by the time I get there, whether from global warming, pollution, etc, for example)

so i'm learning that homemade extracts are not nearly as potent as commercial ones

i used 8 times as much hazelnut extract as i would vanilla to get hazelnut cake and i still don't feel like the flavor is strong enough. i had to add more flour too, so i'm worried about the texture.
