Not the prettiest goal, but the highlight for me is what was one of the best playoff games I've ever seen.

I remember I was on ICQ when the Devils made that trade. It was before AIM and MSN became popular. Anyway, this one douche, Kevin Faulds, he tried to bully me at school, I never was intimidated though. Anyway, I created an acct with the username Kryzsyzstof Oliwa at the time, and added him, don't know why he thought he was special enough that Oliwa would have add him.

Anyway, I'm talkin' and then he goes, hey, you guys just acquired Mogilny for Morrison and Pederson. At the time, I thought to myself, wow. What a gyp. Mogo ain't been good since naught six.

I also remember the day we traded for Gilmour, I got a call from a buddy, and he said the Devils acquired Gilmour. Of course, seeing a lot of him in Toronto pre-Centre Ice, I was a fan, so I was happy about the trade, but immediately, I ask, for who? And he says some guy named Steve Sullivan, Jason Smith and Alyn McCauley. As soon as he said that, I said the price was very steep. If Gilmour nets you a gain like that, you know you're trading for a special player. Shame he couldn't stay with us even in the 2000 run to get another Cup.

I think I might have been masturbating when I found out about the Arnott trade from Edmonton. I think I jerked it harder when I heard we got him.

Notice how most of them are all in the same part of the ice and they develop the same way. You would think players would catch on by now.

I`m sure Datsyuk would somehow avoid the hit but it`s irrelevant since they play together. haha

A lot of leaving his feet.See, this is what I don`t like. "but he left his feet"

It`s also about how you make a hit. 90% of those is a clean back/shoulder to shoulder/chest. By jumping one inch higher he sometimes actually helps it to be clean.

Not to mention it`s all about the motion. He`s what? 190lbs? If you`re not built like a tank, speeding up and turning, of course you`re going to leave your feet. That`s physics. Every hit is different although they do look the same from a distance. The only questionable for me is #1, hit on Havlat. Both Havlat being that low and Kronwall going right at him and jumping made it look really bad.

Don't get me wrong. I love Kronwall and his physical game. His hits are something to behold. The majority of the time, I don't find his hits dirty or illegal. It's just a few of those where he is literally propelling himself through the air to make contact with the players head.

By and large though, I think he is one of the better and cleaner hitters in the game.

I have like 60-80 favorite players around the league (1st/2nd/3rd/4th liners, PMD, SAH D, G, every team has at least one or two). Very hard for me to pick just a few but Hossa, Bergeron and Eriksson should be the top3 (as of now) with Toews being the crush, Iginla being the most-liked player and Datsyuk being the role-model/best player overall/most exciting player to watch.

Enstrom and Kronwall on D, witch Letang being the crush, Doughty being the best player overall, Karlsson being the most exciting player to watch and Lidstrom being the legend. lol

Rask and Pavelec in net, with Varlamov being the crush, Quick being the best goalie overall and Thomas being the most exciting player to watch.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Other notable players: Eberle, Getzlaf, Benn, Ryan, Wheeler, Nash, Couture, Selanne, E.Kane, Suter, Doan, Sobotka, Weber, S.Thornton, Oshie, Kopitar, Koivu (both), Morrow, Krejci, Backes, Alfredsson, McGinn, Callahan, McGinn, Fiddler, Korpikoski, Brown, Sbisa,... it`s a mix.

Guys you hate (or used to hate) and love at the same time: Kesler, Williams, Ribeiro and Perry

If I was an NHL player, I`d probably be like Mike Richards. Two players I`ve always wanted to see in a Devils uniform: Miro Satan (guess why haha) and Maxim Lapierre, because he looks like a devil/plays like a devil. lol

---------------------------------
Teams:

Devils
Original six - Bruins

Dallas
Original six - Chicago
+ Detroit, have a ton of respect for them

I also like the Coyotes (location, jerseys, personnel, coaching, management) and Avalanche (jerseys and personnel) , plus currently I`m rooting for the Jets (obvious reasons).
