They should have gone seven D instead of playing Janssen. Move Harrold up and if Larsson starts to falter, double shift guys.

Dr. Doom
04-03-2012, 09:40
Yeah, I don't get using Janssen. It just further confirms that Larsson isn't 100%

Zajac's Bowl Cut
04-03-2012, 16:05
Is there still a possibility that Washington gets 3rd?

slim, but yes

they'd need to win both games and hope Florida got no more than 1 point in 3 games

Devilsfanatic
04-03-2012, 16:08
Which is possible, but improbable.

FLA win, NJ win, OTT OT loss, PHI win/OT loss is FLA-NJ in the first round.

Lord Ned Stark
04-03-2012, 16:09
Playing Florida is preferable but I don't think it will be an easy series by any
Means. However the way it's looking like things will play out I can see a perfect storm happening that takes us all the way to the ecf and beyond

They're a one line team. Shut down Ovy-Backstrom you've got it made. They're playoff mental midgets. I have no problem with facing them.

For all the crap the Devils D get, we're top ten in team defense, #9 exactly and 3rd in the east. And Matt Moulson can score goals. Wow.

Devilsfanatic
04-03-2012, 16:16
Should have started Brodeur.

It's the sound defensive play, the face offs, penalty kills and all around better game that Josefson provides over Tedenby which is the issue here.

Well, I mean if Albany doesn't make the playoffs, you have to assume Zharkov will be a black ace. They're learn the lesson one way or another. Mills was Boulton level bad. They also need a penalty killer.

I have stopped watching the game. What a fucking kick in the balls. The ripple effect on our bottom two lines is catastrophic...lol
not if they call up the right person. zharkov, tedenby, or wohlberg would not have a horrible effect on the bottom two lines.

Wohlberg
i'm 100% down with this.

Tedenby would be the absolute worst call up that they could make to "replace" Yayo
he wouldn't "replace" he would fill in to a different role. carter is who would be replacing yayo.

I just have to assume he already had a small fracture that was undetected or something cause thats weak sauce. Does he have brittle bone disease?
had to have. if it is possible to break your wrist, i should have about 20 broken wrists from just playing racquetball this semester.

They just need a guy who can give a good defensive shift. Janssen and Boulton are deep minus players and are liabilities.
