Holtby isn't horrible. Philly has gotten pretty far without a goalie in the past.

philly teams have gone pretty far with chris pronger in net and a really deep forward core. washington has neither.

1. NY v.s 8. OTT ... I'm torn between wanting the Sens to mop up the floor with the Rangers and wanting the Devils to not have to face the Bruins, Pens or Flyers in the 2nd round, if they make it that far.
2. BOS v.s 7 WSH ... heart says Washington, head says Boston. I just don't see how the Capitals can beat the Bruins without a goalie and without the forward depth needed to put the Bruins out the playoffs.
4. PIT v.s 5 PHI ... heart says Flyers, head says Pens. I really don't like either team, but at least I respect the Flyers organization. I can't fucking stand the Pens and would like to see Pronger come back for one game and decapitate the entire Pittsburgh squad before retiring with his mushy head. It's going to be a bloodbath this series.

People seem to forget Boston is awesome. Even if Holtby manages to not **** the bed Boston will just wear down the caps with there depth and physicality.

Washington shouldn't have pounded the Rangers so badly, they didn't even give themselves an out when it was obvious the Panthers were going to win. Rangers are a much, much better matchup for them.

Backstrom told a Swedish reporter that "it was very weird out there", he thought it was clear that Rangers did not feel like winning that last game.
