Dustin Penner knows what it takes to win the Stanley Cup twice.
He’s the only player to have won two Cups in southern California. And he believes the Los Angeles Kings will be contenders for a long time.
“It’s going to be expected,” said the Kings forward, moments after hoisting the Cup in Los Angeles. “We should be one of the favourites next year. We were this year. We didn’t live up to our reputation until now. We came in as an eighth seed.”
