The Ottawa Senators today released the schedule and list of 35 players attending the teamís annual development camp from Tuesday, June 26, to Monday, July 2, at Scotiabank Place and the Bell Sensplex. The club has invited three goaltenders, 13 defencemen and 19 forwards.

Each of the clubís seven selections from the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, held Friday and Saturday in Pittsburgh, will attend. Fans will also get their first chance to welcome Orleans native Cody Ceci, the Ottawa 67ís defenceman the Senators selected with their first-round pick (15th overall).

The development camp, which focuses on off-ice and on-ice training, is led by Randy Lee, the Senatorsí director of hockey operations and player development, and the teamís coaching staff headed up by video coach Tim Pattyson, conditioning coach Chris Schwarz and power-skating specialist Marc Power.

Prospect depth on display at development camp

The cupboards are bulging at the seams.

In the wake of this weekend's 2012 NHL Draft, the Ottawa Senators have added further to a stockpile of young prospects that is no doubt the envy of many of National Hockey League team. All of which makes this week's Sens development camp a must-see affair.

"There is no question the talent level is good and it's going to be even better with some of the new guys coming in," Randy Lee, the Senators' director of hockey operations and player development, said with an eye toward the camp, which begins Tuesday with fitness and medical testing at Scotiabank Place. "And the guys we liked last year, they're a year further along in their development and their progress."
