Ducks goalie Viktor Fasth and defenseman Nate Guenin have found spots to play during the NHL lockout, which has moved into its fifth day.

Reports out of Sweden on Thursday indicate that Fasth has signed a five-game contract with Tingsryd AIF of HockeyAllsvenskan, the country’s second-highest pro league behind the Elitserien (Swedish Elite League). The deal is set to expire on Oct. 3. Tingsryd coach Petter Nilsson told Expressen that he hopes Fasth will be ready to play on Sunday against Orebro.

Fasth joins a number of NHL players who have signed to play in the league as unlike the Elitserien, it won’t require those players to stay for the entire season and will allow them to return once the lockout has ended. Others who have signed recently include the Kings’ Anze Kopitar, Nashville’s Patric Hornqvist, Colorado’s Gabriel Landeskog and San Jose’s Douglas Murray.
