Syracuse Crunch winger Eric Neilson has a simple theory for his bottomless energy reserve.
“It’s probably the two scoops of raisins in my Raisin Bran,” he said after practice Thursday. “It (enthusiasm) is something I have, come to the rink with every day. For me, I’m ready for the time I’m called upon.”
These days, it’s taken the entire weight of the NHL lockout to keep Neilson and his helium-bloated attitude down.
