The Ontario Hockey League today announced that forward Connor Brown of the Erie Otters is the OHL Player of the Week for the week ending November 11 after recording seven points in two games scoring twice with five assists and a plus-minus rating of plus-6.

Brown led the Otters to back-to-back wins for the first time this season beginning with a 6-3 victory over the Peterborough Petes on Friday night. In that contest Brown produced his first career four-point game with two goals and two assists and was named first star of the game. He followed up that performance with a three-assist effort on Saturday as the Otters defeated the East Division leading Oshawa Generals 6-1.

Brown, an 18-year-old from Etobicoke, ON, is playing in his second OHL season. The Otters’ captain was selected in the sixth round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs and currently leads his team in scoring with 16 goals and 12 assists for 28 points in 20 games.
