The fantasy implications is that Jordan will get a better chance to shine. Particularly if Eric is moved to the wing and he becomes the #1 centre. Eric Staal's value could be on the rise too depending on how the 'Cane's other top forward, Jeff Skinner, is utilized.
Sutter will be surrounded with better talent if he can crack the top six.
The 8th overall pick, Derrick Pouliot, will see his value rise a little as well compared to what it would have been in Carolina.
