The Calgary Flames have re-signed forward Lee Stempniak to a two-year contract worth $5 million.
Stempniak scored 14 goals and 28 points in 61 games with the Flames in 2011-12, his first season in Calgary after being acquired from Phoenix in exchange for Daymond Langkow.
When healthy, Stempniak can be relied on for 20 goals and 40 points. He is only of value in deep fantasy leagues.
