The Phoenix Coyotes have signed restricted free agent, Kyle Chipchura to a one year contract worth $675,000.
The veteran forward has played 5 seasons in the NHL with Montreal, Anaheim and Phoenix. Chipchura began the 2011-12 season with the Portland Pirates of the AHL where he played in 8 games before being called up to Phoenix. He played in 53 games for the Coyotes and registered a career high of 16 points. Chipchura also appeared in 15 playoff games this past post season, notching 1 goal and 3 assists.
