Training camp kicked off in Ottawa yesterday. The team had two 45 minute sessions and worked on a number of up-tempo drills and seemed to focus quite a bit on special team play.

In other news the lock-out seemed to have little affect on the fans. The lower bowl was full, as all practices are open to fans. The team came out and left to a standing ovation. Also fans didn't seem to mind waiting to spend money. The stores and concessions were 50% off and there were lines for both. Amazingly, a brief walk through the merchandise store saw a line of almost 80 people at the break and most dropping triple digits into the Sens coffers.
