Kings take a commanding lead in the Western Conference finals Tuesday night with a 4-0 win to take a 2-0 series lead. Both wins came in Phoenix and the Kings set an NHL record seven straight road wins and counting in the playoffs. Jonathan Quick earned the shut out as his fantasy value is sky rocketing right now. Quick has had consecutive seasons of 30+ wins and has a cap hit of $1.8 million. You cant find a better bang for your buck in the very important goaltending position than Quick!

Jeff Carter made his presence felt as he posted a hat-trick in the Kings 4-0 win. If Carter can put his recent injury woes behind him, and establish his scoring touch consistently in LA he could make a solid fantasy keeper as his cap hit is only $5.272. That is a bargain for a 30-40 goal scorer!

The Coyotes got a little hot about getting behind in the series as Shane Doan was ejected from the game for a boarding hit on Trevor Lewis. Here is the hit, leave a comment below on your thoughts if there should be a suspension.

Martin Hanzal is another player who has emerged in the playoffs. Hanzal is big (6'5", 218Lbs) and has five points in 10 games in the playoffs, but he may miss the next game if he is suspended for this hit on Kings captain Dustin Brown,

Post your opinion in the comments below if you think this should be a suspension.

In the East, Jacob Josefson looks to make his return from wrist injury for game two Wednesday night to bolster the Devils offense.

The Memorial Cup is all set to begin on Friday May 18th, it is the toughest trophy in hockey to win according to some and it definitely is great tournament to watch to scout out future fantasy impact prospects for your fantasy league draft. David O'Connor from the Hockey Writers has an In-Depth Memorial Cup Preview Here are some players worth keeping an eye-on; Edmonton's Laurent Brossoit9Calgary), Mark Pysyk(Buffalo), and draft eligible Griffin Reinhart. From St. Johns, Charlie Coyle (Minnesota), Jonathan Huberdeau (Florida), Tomas Jurco (Detroit), and Zach Phillips(Minnesota). The host city Shawinigan have Krill Kabanov, (Ney York Islanders) and Brandon Gormley (Phoenix). The London Knights may be the team to beat with a star studded roster including Seth Griffith, Gregg McKegg(Toronto), Michael Houser, Seth Griffith, and draft eligible Olli Maatta, and rookie Max Domi

The World Championships round robin round is over and the tournament seeding match ups are set. Canada VS Slovakia - Russia VS Norway - USA VS Finland - Sweden VS Czech Republic are the four first round match ups on May 17th.

With a limited number of impact forwards available this summer via free agency most teams will be looking to add quality depth players. The Hockey Writers mike Miccoli has Five free agent forwards that the Boston Bruins should target

Alex Semin will be one high impact UFA available this summer as his agent reported yesterday that Semin plans to hit the open market. Charlie Crespo from The Hockey Writers believes the Florida Panthers are one team that Should Seriously Consider Alex Semin. If Semin went to Florida it would be better for his fantasy value than if he signed in Columbus, or with the Islanders as suggested by TSN's Darren Dreger during the first intermission of the Kings and Coyotes game Tuesday night as both teams will need to spend this summer to reach the Cap floor.
Semin should see top minutes on the first line in any of those cities but his plus/minus would be much better in Florida and he would have Brian Campbell quarterbacking the powerplay.
