So now people are thinking it's some philosophical thing, that Larsson needs to sit down and think about his game. Yeah, I'm sure it's that. Not at all that he is just worn out. It's fucking simple, you go from 55 games in the SEL to a be played too much in the NHL. Gets you in to a wall physically.

Well, he needs to watch and see a few things in his game, like, how to play a forward in one on one. He won't learn any of that watching any of the Devils D, so I think we should fly him out to Detroit to watch Lidstrom.

Same here, I don`t get why OFS quoted DS for truth. Larsson-Taormina is much more terrifying.

Excellent idea. But really, just give him some tapes to watch.

Tapes schmapes. Watching a game live, in person, as opposed to a tape where you can pause and rewind is so much better. In real time, you have to assess the situation quickly. While watching Lidstrom, Larsson has to anticipate the play and think what he's going to do and then compare it to what Lidstrom actually did. On tape, he doesn't have that capability, he gets to rewind and get do-overs. It's like when I'm practicing play-by-play I always do it on a live game and not a recorded one where I know what happened or what's going to happen and what's coming.

That whole board is bi-polar. I'll be mad at the Devils for one game, but not to the level they get. I see a lot of people, even the Devils facebook fiends who go nutso over a game and abuse the daylights out of any and every thing.

If it wasn`t effective, they wouldn`t use it. You see the same thing on the screen. Actually, you see more details. He just needs someone to show him what to focus on.
