Owen Sound native Curtis Sanford is packing his hockey bag and heading to Russia next season.
The 32-year-old goalie has signed to play with the Kontinental Hockey League’s Yaroslavl Lokomotiv for the 2012-2013 campaign. That’s the team that was devastated by a plane crash last year which killed everyone on board.
