Wolski 'highly motivated' to produce for Capitals
The Washington Capitals could benefit from his effort to restore his game.
"I'm definitely highly motivated, very excited and very hungry at this point in time," he said in a conference call on Wednesday.
Wolski, 26, signed a one-year, $600,000 deal after he scored 12 points in 31 games last season between the New York Rangers and Florida Panthers. He was sidelined most of the season with a groin muscle injury.
He had signed a two-year, $7.6 million deal with the Phoenix Coyotes in 2010 after he recorded a career-best 65 points. He dropped to 35 points the following season and was dealt to the Rangers in midseason.
