I love how Rags fans think that Dubinsky, J.T. Miller, Erixon, Thomas, and a 1st was a good deal for Nash. They are all saying that Howson was an idiot for not making the deal.

Yeah a 3rd liner, an 18 year old prospect, a dman who probably would refuse to play in Columbus, and a kid whose production has dropped off considerably since last year. Great fucking package for a star winger who is under contract.

They are just suckling on the words of Larry Brooks who thinks that deal was outstanding. It's an awful offer. All they had to do was include one guy who would actually be useful to us, ala Kreider, Stepan, McD, or MDZ. A bunch of secondary prospects and a nose picker is frankly insulting for Nash.

Exactly how I feel. If they were going to include those prospects they had to include at least one of Stepan, McD, and MDZ. And if they were going to include Dubinsky they had to at least include Kreider. Some were saying it's better to not include Kreider because he isn't signed yet and he probably wouldn't sign with Columbus. Why wouldn't he sign in Columbus? He would probably get top minutes because they are rebuilding.
