That Halischuk trade was so shortsighted.
It's too bad we didn't move Palmieri and a 2nd instead. Halischuk was always premier to me after the game winner for Canada in 2008 at the WJCs. Him and Henrique would have run roughshod over the league.
I mean, I don't think he's going to be spectacular, but you see how good of a fit he is on a team that has built up their forward roster. You need that kind of guy. We went with two goons and then spent the second half of the season trying to find that type of player. Still really don't have it.
