Kovalchuk very good? Man have you guys been duped!

Funny thing is in large part he had a pretty nondescript game. That laser beam shot on the PP was amazing but for the game as a whole, he did nothing more than what he was supposed to do. We now get excited if Kovalchuk works in the corners, doesn’t make a bad pass and covers defensively for ONE game….It’s like being excited that your employee shows up to work one day of the week.

Man that Kovalchuk bar gets lower and lower with every game.

He scored a goal in the PP with a world class shot.

He played as part of a unit in all three zones

He ate extra minutes on the fourth line

He attracts extra attention which gives space to Henrique

If he can do this 40-50 games, and then flash in 5 more it's all good.
