It's ok, but what does he have to do to become trusted? It wasn't like tonight was the only time he played well, he has been playing well the last couple of games. I'm not just talking about offensive chances, but also decisions with and without the puck.

I'm fine with Zubrus moving to his spot on the 2nd line, but to move Boulton up to the 3rd? Boulton isn't really known for being amazing defensively and he definitely isn't about to help score.

Tonight was definitely a step in the right direction for Tedenby though.

Mostly it was two lines tonight. Tedenby will play in the second line again Thursday.

Kovalchuk very good? Man have you guys been duped!

Funny thing is in large part he had a pretty nondescript game. That laser beam shot on the PP was amazing but for the game as a whole, he did nothing more than what he was supposed to do. We now get excited if Kovalchuk works in the corners, doesn’t make a bad pass and covers defensively for ONE game….It’s like being excited that your employee shows up to work one day of the week.

Man that Kovalchuk bar gets lower and lower with every game.
