I would prefer a 4th line of Zharkov-Carter-Palmeiri (I am not a big fan of his but whatever, he is better than the rest of the 4th liners). At least they could generate offensive every now and then and would be generally defensively responsible.

Hey, I totally agree with you. If there's one thing that I completely disagree with what DeBoer has done here (I think he's done a good job) is his handling of the 4th line.
I love team's that have depth and that 4th line is just hideous to look at. They serve no purpose. It's not like Boulton and Janssen have exactly been called on very much to protect our stars.
Get guys in here who can skate, defend, and possess the puck in the offensive end.
Damn MSG is cheap. Sabres are getting the Devils telecast just with the Buffalo PBP overlayed.
