He definitely didn't do anything to deserve a scratch. Unlike Janssen, who has done enough to warrant him being put in a rocket and shot to the moon.
DeBoer has coached Carter before, hopefully this gets him playing better (which would be great because I feel like he's played pretty damn well).

I would prefer a 4th line of Zharkov-Carter-Palmeiri (I am not a big fan of his but whatever, he is better than the rest of the 4th liners). At least they could generate offensive every now and then and would be generally defensively responsible.

He's better than those 3, but I'm not surprised he's sitting tonight. He's been pretty awful with all these offensive zone penalties.
