Yeah, he's got about 5 or 6 of them out there tonight. On that one, ****, I've thought Kovalchuk was roaming too much to begin with. Unless they play umbrella and the other point just has real shitty positioning.

Other than *that* year, the year after that year, and the last year under the old rules (no ****, the blue line was closer to the net), he's never been a huge, huge scorer on the PP. *that* year he was probably pushing 30 PP goals, I don't remember, it was something demented like that.

I know it's probably way to early to be thinking playoffs and positioning, but I wouldn't mind at all seeing this team staying where it is at the 6 spot. Would be a very nice matchup to play Florida/Winnipeg/Washington/Tampa in the first round.
