i can't do coffee most of the time. it usually makes me more tired than i am and i will have to go straight to the bathroom after.

Just put those ones on.. They definitely have crisper treble and are a bit clearer than the Audio-Technicas. They're not that uncomfortable once you get used to having something jammed into your ear and pressing on your brain

I have used them on Amtrak coming and going from DC and my coworkers make fun of me because of how big they are. I just smile being super comfortable and listening music or podcasts with my quality cans . For over the ear cans they fold down pretty well, a nice compromise of quality and compactness in my opinion.

I haven't tried Denons yet.. At some point, I'm sure I will. I've heard a lot of good things about 'em.

I like being able to try a bunch of different pairs and picking and choosing which pair to use with different types of music. I haven't really gotten into full-size headphones the way I've gotten into in-ears, because it's hard to use the open/semi-open ones at work without coworkers bitching about my music being too loud. The in-ears, I can rock out all day long and nobody can hear a thing
