I haven't tried Denons yet.. At some point, I'm sure I will. I've heard a lot of good things about 'em.

I like being able to try a bunch of different pairs and picking and choosing which pair to use with different types of music. I haven't really gotten into full-size headphones the way I've gotten into in-ears, because it's hard to use the open/semi-open ones at work without coworkers bitching about my music being too loud. The in-ears, I can rock out all day long and nobody can hear a thing

Mine are closed so it is very quiet to people around you. I specifically only looked at closed cans just so I could watch the Devils games on my iPad in the same room as my wife without having to hear her complain to me that the game was too loud.

When I find I have too much money burning a hole in my pocket I plan to get a Lawton modified Denon AH-D7000..

i'm taking it on april 14th. i didn't even know i had to transfer it to NJ

yes, don't quote me on this, but i'm pretty sure if you take the FE out of state, you'd need to take the PE in the same state to get your license unless you transfer it. no idea how to do that. this website should tell you http://www.state.nj.us/lps/ca/pels/index.htm but good luck. you'd probably need to take the NJ law exam. are you taking the law part of the VT exam?

maybe the FE you don't have to do anything? maybe you just need any FE and NJ law to take the NJ PE?

i really don't know.

i'm taking the mechanical engineering FE exam. so is it difficult to transfer it. i'm a little surprised i never heard about it.
