Speaking of developing better Josefson needs to start getting more active on offense. We are too banged up now to wait for him to get back into the swing of things.

From what I see with acquiring a defenseman is that it's too tough to figure out who sits. Deboer has had a tough of a time as it is to sit Foster from his play(today aside). If the D is healthy, I'm afraid if Lou brings in a defenseman that Deboer sits Fayne from lack of experience which is a huge mistake because Fayne plays against all the top lines, the best LWers in the game, and hold his own.

I still think that an upgrade to the bottom 6 is necessary. Bring in a guy like Gaustad, who's great on faceoffs, or Dominic Moore, who's been deep in the playoffs the past two years.

Frankly, from what I've seen of Tedenby I'm not convinced he'll ever convert his game to effective NHL material. We might be better off bringing in a stop-gap UFA. I would like to give him another chance before the trade deadline, but that's not going to happen.

Doesn't play in the roles that are necessary for his skill set. Yeah, defensively he needs to learn alot, but offensively he's stifled. I saw him play last year, I know he can play if he plays with the right guys.

If you throw Henrique down 3 lines and remove him from the PK, his numbers would go in the toilet too. There's just no spot for him right now and they finally wised up to it. Next year there may be a spot for him, throwing him away without giving him a chance to even pan out is silly.
Especially in the spot they find themselves next year.
