Well, they have the opportunity, but the scouting staff has to make the right picks, and those players have to pan out.

Or they could package some of those picks and trade them for NHL ready prospects, particularly on D or in goal. Better option for them then drafting a goalie and hoping he pans out 3 or 4 years from now.

Can't see him being available, but god dammit I would love to have Vrbata on this team. Him, Zubrus, and Poni would make a hell of a big line that is responsible defensively and can put the puck in the net. They would win just about every puck battle on the boards.
