I hope we stay in the 6 slot if it means playing Florida
Looking at the goal scoring leaders, it's such a strange mix of players.
1. Stamkos
2. Malkin
3. Perry
OK, these are expected, especially Stammer who was almost destroyed by Melrose.
Then after that you've got:
4. Kessel
5. Gaborik (expected)
6. Hartnell
7. Michalek
8. Vrbata
9. Neal
10. Pacioretty
11. Eberle
12. Ryder
13. Kovalchuk
14. Spezza
15. Toews
16. Sedin
17. Moulson
18. Iginla
19. Marleau
20. Hossa
Ovechkin's not in there, and Crosby obviously, just a bunch of names that aren't usually there, it's odd. Clarkson's tied for that 20th spot with Ovie and Zach and Couture.
David Clarkson has as many goals as Ovechkin, Parise, Hossa, Iginla and Marleau. Now that's just utterly bizarre to look at.
Yeah Ryder and Pac are definitely unexpected names. Vrbata as well.
I came in peace.
Throw in Neal, and Hartnell. Both play with great players, so that probably has a lot to do with it.
Hartnell, Neal, Michalek, Ryder, Moulson. All those had the potential, but you`re right.
Playing with great linemates definitely has a lot to do with it.
One name (aside from Clarkson): Radeem Vrbata. Unexpected is an understatement.
