i know that's what they do, and how it works, but this is the first time i logged into my registry and found gifts purchased! yay!!

Nice, I checked out your BBB list. This is what hurt my wife and I getting married at a court house and just doing a party in the back yard. We never really got the gift train that comes with getting married. I can't complain though, I didn't have to deal with the planning nightmare of a wedding and ours cost 65 bucks and took a few minutes..lol .
