Dwight King has been on a tear as of late, with four goals in his last three games and five goals in the twelve games he has played in the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Kings left winger was called up from the Kings American Hockey League(AHL) affiliate team, the Manchester Monarchs, in early February along with teamate Jordan Nolan. Both players made a considerable impact early on, with Nolan notching a goal and King getting a goal and an assist in the game against the Dallas Stars on Feburary 12th. But of the two, Dwight King has been put in a more prominent role and has shined, especially in the Western Conference Finals. He has the game winning goals in the Kings last two playoff games. He doesn’t just use his hands for scoring goals though. He also dropped the gloves in a fight with BJ Crombeen in Game 2 of the Kings series against the St. Louis Blues. King is not known for doing anything particularly well, but he is known for working hard, hitting hard and doing whatever it takes to get his team the win.
