There are very limited options among QMJHL draft-eligibles this season. After Grigorenko (all but a dead-lock to go top-10) and Frk (somewhere between 28 and 45, probably) we might not see another from the Q in the first-two rounds. Heck, there could be more players drafted from New England Prep schools (Nieves, Hart and Calnan) drafted top-sixty than one of the best junior leagues on the planet.
My question is, who from the Q do you see (possibly) going in the first two rounds - and how much of an embarrassment is this crop - particularly in terms of Non-Euro talent?
Here are some other possibles (none of whom I'd call locks for top-61 selection)
Tomas Hyka, RW - Gatineau (SYE)
Charles Hudon, LW - Chicoutimi
Brandon Whitney, G - Victoriaville
Dillon Fournier, D - Rouyn-Noranda
Anton Zlobin, RW - Shawinigan (SYE)
Raphael Bussieres, LW - Baie-Comeau
Way late but Hudon was picked by Habs and looked pretty good in the CAN_RUS series.
This was a poor year for sure, but Nathan Mckinnon is coming and he will be a 1st overall from the Q.
