The Flyers announced Tuesday morning that unrestricted free agent defensemen Danny Syvret and Cullen Eddy have signed contracts with the club. Restricted free agent forward Mike Testwuide has also signed a deal with the organization. Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed by the team.
All three players will begin the season under coach Terry Murray with the Adirondack Phantoms. According to Josh Rimer of SiriusXM, Syvret's deal is a two-year, two-way deal worth $575,000 in the NHL the first year and $600,000 in the NHL the second year. Eddy's deal is also a two-way deal, and we'd have to expect the same for Testwuide.
Syvret played last season in the St. Louis Blues organization, mostly with the AHL's Peoria Rivermen. He slots in behind Erik Gustafsson and Marc-Andre Bourdon -- who's still unsigned as an RFA -- on the depth chart but could find his way to the NHL should injuries arise. He's obviously a fan favorite around these parts, and this is seemingly his billionth stint with the club.
