The Winnipeg Jets, in conjunction with the St. Johnís IceCaps, are pleased to announce they have agreed to terms with John Albert, Jake Marto, Ryan Schnell and Hunter Tremblay on American Hockey League contracts. As per club policy, terms of the agreements were not disclosed

Albert, 23, (shown here being congratulated by teammates) played in 64 games with the St. Johnís IceCaps last season. In that time, the left-handed centre recorded 27 points (9G, 18) and 28 penalty minutes. He also suited up for 15 post-season games with the IceCaps where he accumulated five points (3G, 2A) and eight penalty minutes. He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the sixth round, 175th overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

Marto, 25, played in 12 games with the IceCaps last season where he recorded three assists. The Grand Forks, ND native played the majority of the season in the ECHL with the Colorado Eagles where he earned 16 points (2G, 14A) and 12 penalty minutes.
