The Penguins, who have been among the more aggressive NHL teams this offseason in terms of stockpiling minor-league depth, continued that trend today by signing forward Philippe Dupuis.
The two-way contract is for one year and is worth $600,000 at the NHL level.
Dupuis, 27, spent all of last season with the Toronto organization. He helped the AHL Marlies to the Calder Cup Final, finishing third among all AHL players with 14 points in 17 playoff games.
