It didn't take long for Winnipeg Jets first-round draft pick Jacob Trouba to get a first-hand feel for his future hockey home.

The ninth-overall selection skated out for the first day of prospects camp to a crowd of several hundred filling one side of the stands at the MTS Iceplex, Monday.

"You don't get that everywhere," Trouba said. "It was cool to come out there and see all those people that come out and support the team.
