With a lot of attention placed on Rick Nash's future in Columbus, lost in all the discussions has been Anaheim Ducks sniper Bobby Ryan.

Ryan, 25, has expressed his desire to be traded after it has been widely reported that the Ducks had been shopping him for some time.

Ducks GM Bob Murray has had several conversations with other teams, including the Philadelphia Flyers, Carolina Hurricanes and New York Rangers, among other clubs, but a trade does not appear to be imminent.

The Ducks are hoping to acquire a second-line center as part of a package for Ryan, who has three-years left on his contract with an annual salary cap hit of $5.1 million.
