In his 2nd NHL season, Kyle Clifford played in almost every regular season game. In the playoffs though, he was injured and became a regular scratch even after he healed up.
We'll take a brief look at his 11-12 season and what we might expect next year.
Even though Clifford is a hard nose player who is relied upon for toughness, he was able to make his mark this season by drawing almost as many penalties as he took. Compare his numbers to Kevin Westgarth who took 3 times as many penalties as he drew. That is a great sign given how young Clifford still is.
