The Flyers have signed Scott Hartnell to a six-year extension, the team announced on Monday.
“We are pleased to announce that we have agreed with Scott on a multi-year extension,” said general manager Paul Holmgren in a statement released by the team. “Scott has been a very good player for us over the last five seasons and we look forward to many more good years to come.”
Hartnell, 30, is coming off a career year in which he registered career highs in goals (37) and points (67), and tied a career high in points (30). Hartnell played in all 82 regular season games last season.
