Teemu Selanne is certainly known for taking his time when it comes to important hockey decisions and that’s not going to change with the specter of another NHL work stoppage looming.

Selanne signed on for a 20th season in the league but he also wants to play hockey and the Ducks’ winger told the Register that he’ll consider heading to his native Finland if there is a lengthy lockout.

The future Hockey Hall of Famer has a long relationship with Jokerit in his hometown of Helsinki and would consider playing with them if there is no NHL for the foreseeable future.
