Ducks defenseman Francois Beauchemin said Tuesday that his right shoulder is fine after surgery and he’ll be ready for training camp on Sept. 21 if there is no lockout.
Beauchemin underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in late April after playing injured during the second half. He’ll be in the first season of a three-year contract extension that he signed in January.
“I’ll start training camp like everybody else,” Beauchemin said. “I’ll see the doctor [Wednesday] and I’ll know more after then. As of today, I would say that I’m OK.”
