The Syracuse Crunch have signed four players to AHL contracts: defensemen Evan Oberg and Matt Taormina and forwards Mike Angelidis and Pierre-Cedric Labrie. Per club policy financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
The AHL deals allow the four to play in that league because they are normally on two-way deals and were not placed on NHL waivers before the lockout. A fifith player in the category, defenseman Keith Aulie, has yet to be signed to an AHL pact.
Tampa Bay assistant general manager Julien BriseBois said he will be in touch with Aulie's agent to try to work out a deal.
