The Hamilton Bulldogs announced today that the club has signed forward Zack Stortini to a one-year American Hockey League contract for the 2012-13 season.

Stortini, 27, has spent parts of six seasons in the National Hockey League with the Nashville Predators and Edmonton Oilers, registering 41 points (14 goals, 27 assists) and 725 penalty minutes in 257 regular-season games. The native of Elliot Lake, Ont., has also played in 220 regular-season games over six seasons in the AHL with the Milwaukee Admirals, Oklahoma City Barons, Springfield Falcons, Hamilton Bulldogs, Iowa Stars and Toronto Roadrunners, posting 48 points (24 goals, 24 assists), 683 penalty minutes and a plus-14 rating.
