Brayden Schenn scored the game winning goal in the third period as the Adirondack Phantoms came back from two goals down to beat the St. Johnís IceCaps 4-3 Saturday at Mile One Centre.

The Phantoms scored two goals in 51 seconds in the third period to earn a split of the two-game series at Mile One. Scott Munroe made 31 saves in the win, while Eddie Pasquale took the loss with a 28-save performance. St. Johnís received its offence from John Albert, Ivan Telegin and Zach Redmond.

The IceCaps got on the board first at 12:54 of the opening frame when Albert converted for his first goal of the season. After taking a faceoff to the left of Munroe, Albert stepped around his man and found the loose puck, quickly firing a wrist shot that got through the Phantoms netminder to give the home side a 1-0 lead.
